If you finish with the entire coding section before the end of the trimester you will be able to have free time in those last days.

Coding Assignment #2

These coding assignments are sequential, so if you did not finish the first 2 sections, you must finish those first.  The next 2 sections are assigned for today and tomorrow.  The first one is shorter than the second.  For sure you should finish Coloring and begin working on Variables today.

If you are not getting the coding work done in class, you will need to work on these sections outside of class, so that you don't fall behind.

Today we are going to start the coding assignments for this class.  The assignments are found at khanacademy.org.  Sign in with your gmail account.  Click on your name in the upper right corner, click on "profile", and click "coaches."  Type in the class code 9KEYFG in the "add a coach" box.

Coding is a very lucrative career with many available jobs.

Click on "Subjects" and select  "Computing."

In the the Computer Programming section, select "Intro to JS: Drawing and Animation."

For today's assignment you are to do the first two sections.

Plug your earbuds into the computer to listen to the video tutorials.  If you do not have any of your own you will be provided with headphones.   Those headphones or your earbuds are only for the video tutorials.

Today you will be completing the Intro to Programming and Drawing Basics sections.

The 8 Google Drive Assignments

All 8 of the Google Drive assignments have been assigned.  You must finish all of those assignments and earn a grade of 7 or higher in order to satisfy the "technology proficiency" requirement for graduation.

Today, make sure you have all 8 of those assignments finished and graded.
